M4K Lynchburg

Thanks for visiting my page! For those not familiar with Mustaches 4 Kids, M4K Lynchburg is a volunteer-run organization with a goal of raising money for local children's charities, while having fun growing mustaches. Each year during the four week growing season spanning November and December, Growers sprout sweet, sweet mustaches. Last year the group of 300 Growers raised and donated over $600,000 to many local charities including Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Virginia, CASA Central Virginia, Miriam's House, Miller Home for Girls and dozens more. 

Emma's daycare, Elizabeth's Early Learning Center, was looking for dads to be Growers and I decided to answer the call. I've never been good at growing facial hair so I expect to look pretty ridiculous. But it is for a great cause! My personal goal is to raise $1000. We kicked off the growing season with a clean shave on Nov. 5. I'm required to shave everything but the stache at least once a week for the next four weeks. I will be updating pictures of my progess along the way!
