I have not been clean-shaven since I moved to Lynchburg 20 years ago! For the month of November, I'm proud to "start from scratch and do the stache" for the kids!
There are 32 charities benefitting from this citywide fundraiser for kids, but there are 3 that I personally want to highlight:
Miriam's House: this nonprofit focuses on ending homelessness in Lynchburg by providing shelter, comfort, training, and community.
Park View Community Mission: this nonprofit helps those less fortunate break the cycle by providing essential needs, relevant skills/training for life, and lasting relationships and community.
Central Virginia Soccer: sports can be a critical pathway to maturity and life lessons for children and CVU is on a mission to using soccer to that end.
