At the risk of exhausting your generosity, I am very excited to endeavor to undertake the dangerous fundraising activity of growing a mustache for M4K Lynchburg. M4K Lynchburg is a volunteer-run organization that raises money for local children’s charities. For those that know Lynchburg, there is an enormous amount of need here, and M4K does a tremendous job providing resources to many of Lynchburg’s children most in need by funding organziations like Jubilee and Lynchburg's Beacon of Hope. For that reason, I am very excited to participate in this event, and I am hoping that you will join me and also laugh at (or with me) for this very good cause. (I promise to post weekly progress photos for your amusement).
This is the final Week 4 progress report on the mustache campaign. As you may recall, this demanding exercise started with two ojbectives. The first was to raise at least $3,000 for Lynchburg charities. The second was to have growth transition as quickly as possible from "creepy" to "awkward." Thanks to your generosity, the first objective was a smashing success. THANK YOU! Also, after having unilaterally redefined the criteria for objective 2's success to be transitioning quickly from "obscure" to "antique," I can safely say that the second objective was also met. Thank you very much for your support and kindness. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Best - Kevin
